At Four Seasons, we understand that pets are family and treat them with respect. Our one dog at a time practice allows us to give them 100% of our attention and keeps stress lower as extra noise (i.e. other dogs barking!) and activity are kept to a minimum. Grooming is an essential part of their health care as during a groom your dog is visually inspected and palpated head to toe. Emilie's prior experience working as a veterinary technician allows her to identify potential health problems when routine vet visits have been missed.

An Amazing Tail
After my post graduate study of horse training methods around the world, I settled in Iowa on our old family farm with my longtime equine love, Bandit. I quickly found my niche as a veterinary assistant and pursued a degree as a veterinary technician. I worked as a veterinary technician at the Veterinary Clinic PC for 6 years before exclusively pursuing my passion for grooming. I have groomed in three different veterinary clinics and a local private shop before opening Four Seasons!

I love the relationship that I have with owners as much as I love the relationship I have with each pet. It is important for me to understand your lifestyle in order to help decide what kind of cut is best for all parties. I really enjoy starting puppies at their first groom, it is so rewarding to see pup grown up to sit and behave with mutual respect throughout the grooming process. I also love grooming doodles!
With years of varied experience and training, I understand the expectations of all pet parents. I communicate clearly with owners before, during and after each groom.
